　Lyke as a ship that through the Ocean wyde，By conduct of some star doth make her way，Whenas a storme hath dimd her trusty guyde，Out of her course doth wander far astray．

　　So I whose star，that wont with her bright ray Me to direct，with cloudes is overcast，Doe wander now in darknesse and dismay，Through hidden perils round about me plast．

　　Yet hope I well，that when this storme is past My Helice the lodestar of my lyfe
　　Will shine again，and looke on me at last，With lovely light to cleare my cloudy grief．

　　Till then I wander carefull comfortlesse，In secret sorrow and sad pensivenesse．

　　[参考译文]爱是一只行驶在汪洋中的小船，在星辰的指引下航行；当风暴暗淡了为它导航的星光，小船将远远地偏离航向。

　　我的星辰也曾用她的光亮为我引路导航，现在却被乌云遮挡，让我在黑夜与苦闷中彷徨，穿行在暗礁险滩的重围中。

　　但我依旧充满希望：当暴风雨过去，Helice，我生命中的北极星，最终定会重放光芒，将我的航程照亮，用她可爱的光辉驱散我悲伤的阴云。

　　而在此之前，我忧心忡忡地徘徊在人生之旅，愁思满怀，独自神伤。
